WEBSITE: To gain additional exposure, comp cards are featured on our website. This is valid for the entire time you are with Model Club Inc.

PORTFOLIO BOOK: A collection of photographs of the model/talent, which is displayed to clients. Portfolios must accompany model/talent on auditions to let the client see the different ways they can express themselves.

CASTING COMPANIES: We encourage you to join the email lists for the local casting companies listed below. Any and all work must go thru Model Club Inc. If you receive an email or information pertaining to an audition, you must forward the email to Tim, your Agency Director, with a brief explanation of why you or your child would like to be submitted to the particular casting or job. If a casting company contacts you directly, please ask them to contact Model Club. We suggest that you create an email account especially for castings.

WORKSHOPS

Model Club uses top instructors from around the country. The workshops are not taught by Model Club staff

BUSINESS SEMINAR 101: An introduction to the industry for parents of children represented by MCI, ages 3-17yrs. Old. The seminar will focus on MCI Policy & Procedures, the dos & don’ts of the business, auditions, development and marketing strategies.

IMAGE CONSULTATION ages 7-11: The workshop will introduce healthy skin & hair care techniques, wardrobe, healthy eating, confidence building, audition techniques. Basic etiquette will also be discussed from standing, walking, opening/closing doors, answering phones, and table manners.

PHOTOMOVEMENT & RUNWAY ages 12 & up: The seminar focuses on runway and photo movement skills for catalog, editorial, commercial and fashion print. Learning these skills is essential because a professional model needs to know how to walk with style, natural strength and comfort.

ADVANCED ACTING ages 7 & up: The seminar will focus on auditions, character building what directors are really looking for, as well as what not to do on the set. The instructor will cover the biggest mistakes actors make and how to carry and present themselves as a professional in the business and more.

ACTING 101 ages 3-6: In this two-hour workshop, actors will explore what it means to be a disciplined actor through myriad of improv and theater games, as well as mock auditions. Topics will also include what happens in the waiting room at a casting director’s office, how to make the most of your audition, listening, following directions, and the ability to showcase personality in a few short minutes.

INTRODUCTION TO ACTING ages 7 & UP: This workshop will cover topics including but not limited to: audition techniques, resume building, voice & diction, acting terminology, intro to TV/film, on camera work, and script work. The workshop will also involve working on techniques in scene analysis, blocking, reactions, acting and listening skills. Work will also involve basic acting and cold reading skills. We will also be working on proper vocal and diction techniques. Especially, breathing, phonation, projection and technique for speaking on both camera and stage. Voice-acting and dialect work will also be introduced.

AIM LA Actors Showcase: The LA Actors Showcase is not a competition; this is an opportunity for aspiring actors to showcase their talents to top agents, managers, casting directors and other TV/film representatives, who have successfully placed talent in major movie & TV productions. There are two different showcases; The LA Child Actors Showcase is for ages 5-12 and the LA Actors Spring Showcase is for ages 13 & up. The initial audition will be held in Boston. The showcase itself will be held in Los Angeles, California.

European Model Showcase: Europe has long been the training ground for aspiring high fashion models to be discovered, develop their portfolios and make a mark in the business. The models who participate at the European Model Showcase are seen by top model agents from major European markets, including Paris, Milan, London, Germany, and Barcelona, as well as Tokyo. Qualified directors select and prepare models who meet the criteria to work successfully in the fashion markets of the world. The initial interview is held in Boston, MA and the model presentation is done in a prestigious Paris style fashion show, held in Paris, France.
