Hilary Purtell

Bio

Hilary is a Boston based actor and lifestyle model who’s been in the industry both on the

East and West coasts, for over 20 years. A graduate of New York University, Hilary holds a BFA in acting from the Tisch school of the Arts, where she was classically trained for stage at the Circle in the Square. After graduation she worked in NYC as an assistant for both a theatrical agency (Abrams

Artists) and a casting director, casting for off Broadway plays as well as national film and television. Hilary then went out west to California where she earned a graduate degree in counseling psychology. While there she spent two years training in on-camera film and commercial acting, and five years studying voiceover technique at VOICE ONE studios in San Francisco. When not working on camera, Hilary has a dedicated sound studio in her home where she records and edits voiceovers for television, radio and web projects both locally and nationally. Some of her clients include Amazon, Fidelity Investments, McDonalds, Marriott Hotel, Liberty Mutual, The YMCA, TD Garden and Merck Pharmaceuticals, among many others.
